Day 1

Negombo - Airport

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer to Negombo. Afternoon sightseeing Negombo. Negombo – is known for its huge and old fishing industry with busy fish markets and sandy beaches. The international airport of Sri Lanka is also situated in Negombo Metropolis. Day 2

Kandy - Negombo

After breakfast proceed to Kandy. En-rourte visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage -is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Afternoon Kandy city tour including Temple of the Tooth Relic. Temple of the Tooth Relic – is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple. Overnight Stay at Kandy
Day 3

Habarana - Kandy

After breakfast visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya Rock Fortress – is an ancient palace located in the central Matale District near the town of Dambulla. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. On a small plateau about halfway up the side of this rock, he built a gateway in the form of an enormous lion. In the evening relax. Optional: Jeep safari at Minneriya/ Kaudulla National Park. Minneriya National Park – The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938.The reason for declaring the area as protected is to protect the catchment of Minneriya tank and the wildlife of the surrounding area. The tank is of historical importance, having been built by King Mahasen in third century AD. The park is a dry season feeding ground for the elephant population dwelling in forests of Matale, Polonnaruwa, and Trincomalee districts. Overnight stay at Habarana

Trinco malee - Habarana

After breakfast proceed to Trincomalee. Afternoon Trincomalee city tour including Koneswaram Temple. Trincomalee – often just called Trinco, is a city in North Eastern Sri Lanka. Now it’s growing into an interesting tourist location with decent beaches and sights. Trinco is famous for its nice beaches in the nearby Uppuveli (6km) and Nilaveli (12km) north of the city. Day 5

Jaffna - Trinco malee

After breakfast proceeds to Jaffna. Jaffna – is the capital city of the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. It is the administrative headquarters of the Jaffna district located on a peninsula of the same name. Slowly but surely reemerging as a bastion of Hindu tradition, art, and creative culture, Jaffna is once again welcoming visitors and looking to rise again. Afternoon at leisure. Day 6

Jaffna city

Breakfast at hotel. Jaffna city tour – Visit Jaffna City Centre, Dutch Fort, Jaffna Library, Jaffna Museum, Nallur Hindu Temple, Naga Vihara, St James Church & Seminary (Taste the Best Nelli Drinks in the world) if time permits you can also visit Casuarina Beach in the evening. Day 7

Jaffna - Nagadeepa

Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Nagadeepa tour. Nagadeepa – is one of the small islands in the north. Most of the other islands are joined by land but to get to Nagadeepa you need to resort to a boat ride. From Jaffna town, this is a good one hour journey, to the end of the road. Nagadeepa is very important to Buddhists as it was a place Lord Buddha visited. Overnight stay in Jaffna.
Day 8

Colombo - Jaffna

After breakfast leave for Colombo. Enroute You can witness development taking place along the A 9 Highway. Reach Colombo late Afternoon. Overnight stay at Colombo

Colombo city

After breakfast Colombo city tour. Colombo – is the financial center of the island and a popular tourist destination. The main city is home to a majority of Sri Lanka’s corporate offices, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Famous landmarks in Colombo include Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, Beira Lake, Colombo Racecourse, Planetarium, Mount Lavinia beach as well as the National Museum.
